Meeting a seller for the first time
- Meet somewhere public and busy in daylight — town centre, a mall, or outside a shop.
- Test electronics before paying. Charge a phone, boot a laptop, switch the TV on.
- Pay after you have the item in your hands. Avoid sending money in advance.
- For anything expensive, bring a friend along.
- Check the payment number against the seller's page before sending anything.
